Unprotected strike action by bus drivers have left many commuters stranded in city areas. Rea Vaya drivers started the wildcat strike action four days ago. This morning, Gautrain drivers also joined in the wildcat actions and made travelling very tidious for most commuters who rely on bus schedule to get to the Gautrain Stations.

As at this afternoon, the situation was not yet resolved and it is expected to continue tomorrow. Commuters would have to rely on public taxis to make travelling plans easier.
