It’s like the mummy classics, you hope the next sequel will be better than the last but then the last one becomes the only reason you keep watching the new releases! We would not want anyone to believe we hate Vin and we sure love him but this sequel downgraded the action acclaimed xXx from an action movie.

We had to re-watch the first make to actually get to give a review of this latest addition. Forbes may have it as a success in figures as well as rating agencies but this is a movie that does not weigh in very well with xXx fans. Let us start with the least expected on the scene, and that is Deepika Padukone. She definitely would be nicer in a love story or a Chickasaw remake but not an FX action movie and she brings out the disconnect in the movie. Ice Cube coming to the play at the end was also not a very smooth play, as one almost forgot he was part of the xXx franchise. The director could have placed him mid scene and maybe the fire could have cached on well. Vin Diesel should stick the o Fast and Furious franchise, 2002 XXX was much better. Rest of the star cast is assembled to just please the producers “Shanghai Movies”.

We sure believe everyone has to see the movie to understand why we downgraded the movie from an action all star it was in the first make. The FX are still good but the story-line is awful and it shows that less work was put into getting an actually story out but the director sure wanted to create some action scene without the blend of a story to balance it.  Die hard fans could easily manage the movie but anyone hoping to get a feel of the fast and furious delivery would be disappointed, this is not the movie and we believe this affected the sales of the movies as we saw at the cinemas. But Strange enough the average action lover would still manage it well.

It really didn’t get the best movie we have watched and it is not going to win any awards but still would be a good watch for friends and families, definitely not for lovers or the curious, you might just doze off.

This film is pure entertainment and one of the few movies with a justifiable big spend.  Mathew Vaughn has delivered yet another great movie. It begins just as the last film ends with an impressive if not opportunistic car chase in the Taxi throughout London ending with Eggsy swimming through the London sewers all so that he can see his mates in Camden one last time and set the drug-fuelled story of this film rolling.

It’s brilliant because the script did not lose its unique British vernacular that set the first film apart from so many other spy comedies. It’s still a British film dominated by British acting. This film will only hold out as long as America can laugh at its stupid stereotypes, which are meant to be funny for all, as Brits do in most Blockbuster movies.

Overcompensated CGI effects were glaringly obvious throughout the film and were slightly painful in certain scenes, but it allowed the film to create these brilliantly imagined and engaging action scenes in which the first film based it success upon. Without it, the action scenes would be gun fights like we have seen hundreds of times before. Although there is no scene on the same level as the church scene in the first film, the Diner scene at the end does come close with Pedro Pascal’s “skipping rope” as a weapon adding something new and slightly sickening as he cuts through one Italian guard like a hot knife would through butter.

Finally, this being a year for big failed celebrity cameos in movies and TV (Ed Sheeran in GOT and David Beckham in King Arthur in particular), Elton John in this film is hilarious and plays a much bigger role than expected, which was all for seeing. His Kick ass fight scene and the part scene of him and Colin Firth killing the Robot Dog is a loveable scene.

If you take this movie too seriously with some again comparing it to 007, you will be disappointed as of course, it’s not going to have the same class or sophistication as Fleming’s novels. That is what makes it different as it does not try to copy that or make a mockery of it either. The Kingsman films now stand on their own.

If you like action comedy movies, then this is a must. This movie would be great for friends, lovers but due to the vulgar and violent scene would not fit a family movie.

If movies were reviewed only on creativity this would be a whopping 101 but considering all elements, it fell short in some aspects and the first being that anime are usually assumed to be created for family.

This one is not for the whole family, if Tim was 5 then he would be clueless or rather blank on the screenplay most of the time, and this makes the movie loose some of it’s viewers. When we saw the average rating we were not sure why but after watching the movie we sure got it. The movie started with a very interesting introduction, fifteen minutes into the movie and it became a motivational movie that encourages people to follow their hearts and not the norms. The Creativity around the cast (giving life to each emoticons) and the humors were excellent except most kids would not comprehend the level of communications.

The movie dwelled on Gene’s journey to self discovery that was followed by a stream of other hopefuls that deepens into the untouched world of spams, virus, hacks and some major red flag areas that should be filtered down. If it was created for Kids there are couple of red flags but computer geeks, phone lovers and some techy people would love it.

Out of the 12 kids at the movie, only 3 got the story-line, others were waiting for the funny scenes and lost the plot.

If you like comedy movies, you should see this. We would not call this a family movie but something for young adults and teenagers. Over protective parents would feel their Kids are being sold the mobile world and would get more clued to their cellphones.  It’s a decent watch for friends.

It had been a while since an action comedy screened and Renoylds just sticks well with funny comedy action movie. This was by far the most exciting old fashion action movie seen in the past few months. It was fun, got lots of funny moments especially when we saw the interaction between Ryan Reynolds (Bryce) and Samuel L. Jackson (Kincaid). It was actually not a new recipe where two people of different background had to work together to be safe from the bad guys (a little bit similar formula in the movie Bulletproof with Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler). However, this movie was having a lot more awesome ridiculous stunts and a lot more brutal. Yes, the killings were pretty violent but not up to the level of horrifying.

The movie had got an R rating mostly I think due to the profound language (countless times we would hear the “F” word being used in here) and some of the action sequences. The main attraction in this movie was definitely the amazing chemistry between Bryce and Kincaid’s characters. It was really wonderful to see how difficult Bryce who was a methodical full of planning type had to deal with Kincaid who always did anything based on instinct. Surprisingly also, Salma Hayek’s character as a totally violent person was very fun to watch.

The money is so fun and action packed in so many scenes, there was no dull moment in the movie, except maybe the first 10 mins into the action scenes. For a movie of almost 2 hours, it sure filled us with lots of entertaining scenes. Just when you thought that it was over, there seemed to be something else again. And if you wait till the end credit scene, you can see a quite funny scene before it ended.

Another factor that made the movie so fun to see was the use of some 80s songs to accompany the “romantic” scenes such as Hello by Lionel Richie or I Want To Know What Love Is by Foreigner. The explosion effects and the sound effects were great. All in all this film was a really entertaining movie that gave us lots and lots of fun.

If you like comedy and action type movies you should like see this. We would really recommend this one for you to see in the cinemas near you. If you are longing for a good fun comedy action movie, then you have got to see this. It’s a very decent watch for friends.
