Another famous person has raised concerns on social media regarding the demands of being in the spotlight. Dineo Ranaka, a radio personality, wrote on her Instagram page how she is making an effort to avoid suicide. “My mind is so loud of this late, life is hard and I am trying my best but my best seems to be not enough,” she stated on the Instagram post.
The mother of three called upon God and expressed her utmost love for her children. She stated how she has a thorough understanding of souls, spirits, and suicide. “I get it. I get them,” she wrote. Ranaka recently opened up about her experience with anxiety on social media soon after taking a break. The star claimed to have had introspective discussions with herself.
“I’ve decided to change my perspective on it because I don’t like to spend time with things that make me scared, and that feeling makes me scared – every time I get in a space where I’m feeling a little bit anxious, I get a little bit afraid,” she said in a video.
Ranaka stated that she has now made the decision to use her anxiety episodes or other triggers as reminders to take a moment to breathe. She continued by saying that she was applying her new perspective to her regular chores.
“Instead of seeing the attacks as an attack, I see them as a reminder to slow down, like pause, breathe a little bit,” Ranaka said.
Back in 2022, South African artist Ricky Rick posted on social media about having suicidal thoughts and “hearing voices”. Ricky Rick eventually committed suicide later in February of that same year.
