Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are officially starting a family. Last night, Kardashian revealed on her Instagram that she is expecting their first child together. Kourtney, who made an appearance at one of Travis’s gig was seen in the crowd holding a sign that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant.” Barker came down from the crowd to kiss her and briefly rejoice. In the video, Kardashian was seen wearing a form-fitting black bodysuit that gave viewers their first look at her growing belly.
Kardashian and Barker have been transparent about their experience while trying to conceive with IVF. Kardashian explained why they had stopped the process back in September. “We started an IVF journey, but I stopped. It was a lot, I took a break to just focus on our wedding and getting married”, Kourtney said.
On the first episode of The Kardashians’ third season back in May, Kourtney Kardashian discussed why they were done with it completely. “We are officially done with IVF,” she confessed. “We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen”, she said despite having had seven of her eggs frozen when she first started dating Barker.
“The freezing of the eggs isn’t guaranteed. I think that that’s a misunderstanding. People do it thinking that it’s like a safety net and it’s not”, she stated.
Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, are the previously existing three children that Kardashian has with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Landon, 19, Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24, are the three children that Barker shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
