Shauwn Mkhize, famously known as Mam’Mkhize, has had the opportunity to try her hand at acting ever since she entered the Mzansi spotlight. Mam’Mkhize made a cameo on the popular SABC1 serial opera “Uzalo” in 2021, and she also made an appearance on “Durban Gen” the previous year.
The well-known personality, posted a reel on her official Instagram account of her on set. On that reel she is seen walking towards the wardrobe department while reading a screenplay.
Her caption played with the hopes and dreams of her 3 million followers, who couldn’t help but wonder if she would be appearing in season two of the popular television show “Umkhokha.” Her caption read,
“Something is loading… 🤫🤭 Can you guess what? 😅,”
“Umkhokha The Curse” is one of the most watched popular drama series. Its first season was so well-received that it scored nominations for awards leading it to make a second appearance as a telenovela.
Mandla KaNozulu was the concept’s original creator, while Rhythm World Production produced the show. “Umkhokha” was head written by Siphosethu Tshapu and Kagiso Mogale. The actors who play the main characters are Deli Malinga as MaMzobe, Sibonile Ngubane as Difa, Nay Maps as Sphamandla, and Hope Mbhele as Mabusi.
Only time will tell what Mam’Mkhize’s role will be, but her supporters have already cautioned her to avoid upsetting MaMzobe.
