South Africa’s Thuso Mbedu has been named the new face of L’ORÉAL Paris Sub-Saharan Africa

Popular cosmetic company L’Oréal Paris has named South African actress Thuso Mbedu as its new brand ambassador and spokesperson for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Mbedu will contribute her distinct viewpoint to regional advertising campaigns, product launches, and public appearances as the brand ambassador and spokeswoman for L’Oréal Paris throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Her love of beauty and talent for engaging audiences will be crucial in strengthening the brand’s engagement with their  devoted customers. The cooperation between L’Oréal Paris Sub-Saharan Africa and Thuso Mbedu, in the words of the cosmetics firm, “is set to revolutionize beauty standards and inspire a wave of self-worth and confidence across the continent.”

Mbedu stated that growing up one never thought of oneself as attractive, therefore, she could have never anticipated that one day she would have the privilege of serving as the first Sub-Saharan African spokeswoman for L’Oréal Paris, a brand with a strong sense of feminism, diversity, and woman empowerment.

“So far, I’ve enjoyed learning about the innovative technology behind L’Oréal’s product range and the ground-breaking strides made in understanding African skin. Their products are amazing, and I’m thrilled to be representing my African community within this incredible global brand,” she said.
