Zandile Msutwana makes a return on The Queen

Veteran Actress Zandile Msutwana, who plays Vuyiswa on The Queen, has announced her return to the popular Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen. The announcement follows the news that her temporary replacement, Thembisa Mdoda, is pregnant.

She informed her followers two days ago that she has completely healed after sustaining an injury on set in April this year and that she is strong enough to do what she loves again.

Zandile Msutwana has played the character of the feisty Vuyiswa Maake since the show’s peak years back.

Thembisa Mdoda who temporarily replaced Zandile Msutwana on The Queen revealed her pregnancy on Instagram a day ago.

The media personality blew her fans away when she captioned her baby bump picture with: “Don’t ask the question. The answer is yes.”

She is currently a co-host on Mzansi Magic’s Pan-African singing competition reality television series, Old Mutual Amazing Voices.

Mdoda — who is no stranger to our screens, has appeared on UnmarriedIsibaya and Baby Mamas — wasn’t well received by the majority of The Queen‘s viewers.

Mdoda was compared to Msutwana constantly by some fans who felt that she’s “too soft” and wasn’t doing justice to the character.

Is the timing of Mdoda’s pregnancy announcement and Msutwana’s full recovery a coincidence?

Hopefully new updates will surface and put fans at ease.
