Actor Jamie Foxx was seen in pictures taken by TMZ on Sunday while cruising around the Chicago River. Foxx then tweeted for the first time in four months on that same day.
“Boat living. Having a summer party with @brownsugarbbn”, read the actor’s post.
In April, Corinne Foxx, the actor’s daughter revealed on Instagram that her father had experienced a “medical complication”.
A month later, Corinne took to Instagram to announce that Foxx had been released from the hospital and was now “recuperating” at home. According to a source which spoke to People Magazine, “He is just taking it easy,” following the 55-year-old’s sighting on Sunday. “He’s not really having any visitors or anything like that yet, but he’s doing really, really well.”
TMZ posted a video of Foxx practising his golf swing on Monday. The footage, according to the newspaper, was shot on Saturday night at Topgolf in Naperville, Illinois. At the time of his medical emergency, Foxx and Cameron Diaz were filming the Netflix film Back in Action. Since the incident in April, the actor has starred in a number of films, including They Cloned Tyrone, another Netflix original.
“He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro”, said his co-star from They Cloned Tyrone, John Boyega. “He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return”, he said further.
