The Backstreet Boys have arrived in South Africa amidst their world tour shows. The boyband, which consists of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, arrived in Cape Town over the weekend and are “starting to venture out” after getting some rest.
Their first stop after leaving Bahrain was the Cape Town Stadium. They saw the Stormers defeat Connacht of Ireland 43–25 to advance to the United Rugby Championship (URC) final for the second time in a row.
“Welcome to South Africa, Backstreet Boys”. The caption of a clip uploaded to the Big Concerts Instagram account stated, “We are happy to welcome you”. The entertainment company also tweeted images of the boy band’s arrival and pictured them leaving their private plane. With his hair blowing in the wind was band member Kevin Richardson and in another, AJ McLean posing in front of the aircraft.
While exploring Cape Town, Nick Carter has posted pictures and videos on his own social media platforms. He captioned a selfie taken from his suite at the Mount Nelson hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, “Woke up in Cape Town, South Africa, refreshed and ready to see what’s going on around town.” Carter even went to Signal Hill with his bandmates on Sunday. Carter posted videos of their journey to the destination and details about how Signal Hill came to get its name. He further posted pictures of the hilltop’s panorama.
