Costantinos Tsobanoglou, popularly known as Costa Titch passed away in March this year after passing out on stage during his performance at Ultra South Africa.
In an effort to learn more about the circumstances behind her son’s passing, the mother of the late music icon made a helpless plea on his son’s Instagram page. She expressed concern that, if her son had been poisoned, the murderer might escape justice because it can take the National Health Laboratory Services months or even years to complete the toxicological testing.
“This means I am not the only mother in South Africa that has to wait for answers. It also means if anyone did poison my son, they could get away with murder. I’m pleading for help to get answers as even the police cannot do anything without these medical results,“ added Titch’s mother.
According to the police who spoke to AFP, the 28-year-old passed out during his performance on Saturday, March 11, at the Ultra South Africa concert in Nasrec, Johannesburg. They also said that an investigation had been opened and that the cause of his death will be determined by a post-mortem.
Costa gained widespread recognition for his number-one song, Big Flexa which featured C’Buda M, Banaba Des, Man T, Sdida, and Alfa Kat.
