KZN Youth Orchesta to host a concert for dad’s in honour of Father’s Day

In honor of Father’s Day, the KZN Youth Orchestra will perform a special concert in Durban’s Botanic Gardens tomorrow. Patrons are encouraged to take advantage of the beautiful weather in Durban, pack a picnic bag, and come out not to only support the over 70 young musicians that travel from all across KZN but to treat their father’s with a wonderful experience.

The one-hour performance will feature music from musicals, romantic era films, and other genres. There are jazz and rock tunes as well as “Arabian Nights” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” songs.

The picnic concert, which was directed by Lykele Temmingh and delivered by Cathy Peacock, will leave you with a song in your heart. The concert takes place on June 18 at 11 a.m., and can be caught at the Botanic Gardens Amphitheatre. Tickets cost R100 for adults and R75 for seniors and students.
