The South African music industry has taken a big lose with the tragic death of well known icons, “Mpura”, “Killer Kau” and Khanya Hadebe
Killer Kau, Mpura and Khanya Hadebe are believed to have died in a fatal car accident.
The three men were the creatives behind some of the biggest songs in the country.
Amapiano star Killer Kau first entered the industry when he went viral after he uploaded a video of his song on Twitter. DJ Euphonik collaborated with him to produce hit single Tholukuthi Hey.
Mpura was most famous as the voice behind amapiano hit, Umsebenzi Wethu.
Khanya ‘The Voice’ Hadebe was a rising star in the music industry and was already making a considerable impact at a young age, which is the case for all three of these talents.
Social media has been flooded with tributes to Mpura, Killer Kau and Khanya Hadebe. Fellow artists and other local stars have been expressing their shock and sadness over the news.
Rapper Riky Rick also reacted to the news on his Instagram, particularly paying tribute to Mpura.
