Bonang Matheba and CSA reach an agreement over the House of BNG dispute

The legal battle between media star Bonang Matheba and her former management firm Celebrity Services Africa (CSA) over her Method Cap Classique (MCC) business House of BNG has been resolved. The two parties will discretely split ways. CSA claimed in a statement provided to News24 that it has no claim to or financial interest in Bonang’s business dealings or those of any other registered enterprises.

“Celebrity Services Africa (Proprietary) Limited (“CSA”) and Bonang Matheba (“Bonang”), the proprietor of the House of BNG brand, have resolved their long-running disagreement. BNG South Africa (Pty) Ltd, Bonang Matheba Entertainment (Pty) Ltd, and the House of BNG name and trademarks are all held by Bonang Matheba, and CSA affirms that it has no claim to or financial interest in their business concerns. In its statement, CSA reiterates its denial of representing Bonang or any of these organizations.

This is not a joint statement, but the content is real, according to Matheba, who spoke to News24.She stated that she’s glad that the CSA has at last proven the truth since it will now allow her to proceed calmly with developing the House of BNG brand. A few days ago, the star of the recently relaunched YouTube series B’Dazzled released the trailer for episode two.

On the trailer, she provides her followers with a behind-the-scenes tour of her most recent journey to New York, where she met with Steve Madden in advance of her collaboration with the shoe company. Additionally, the teaser depicts her getting together with her friend Thulane “Toolz” Radebe to get up on their respective love lives and talk about what transpired after her fallout with CSA.

In an interview with Radebe, a publicist and content producer, Matheba disclosed that she was “going through it” and asserted that no amount of words could ever adequately express the suffering she claimed to have experienced. It has not been made official by Matheba when the full episode will air. According to a City Press story, she was charged with instigating violence by her former brand manager, Davin Phillps. In order to get her to retract her comments, he filed an urgent interdict at the Johannesburg High Court that month. He said that the remarks put him at risk.

At the time, Matheba reportedly wanted to get rid of a contract that made CSA in charge of marketing and promoting her line of alcoholic beverages. Phillips said that it was illegal for her to want to end the contract. According to additional information in the journal, Phillips testified in court that Matheba had been hostile to him and the other directors of his company ever since the agreements were canceled.
