Terry Pheto, a celebrated actress, has been avoiding social media since she was implicated in the National Lottery Commission (NLC) grant financing scam.
As a result, Pheto was thrust into the center of a social media uproar when her opulent Bryanston property was put up for auction after it was learned that the land had been bought with money stolen from the struggling NLC. The actress has been quiet on social media during the crisis. Her most recent Instagram uploads were a collection of images from an event she attended with Moet & Chandon in October.
However, it appears that the actress is gradually returning to the spotlight after the whole ordeal. The actress turned a year older on May 11 and appeared to have celebrated with her close friends. An image of her and her friends was recently shared on social media by a previous “Isibaya” actress and a close friend of the “Tsotsi” actress.
The reason to why the women were dining out together was unknown, however many people couldn’t help but notice Pheto in public. Celeste Ntuli, an actress and comedian, also posted a video on her Instagram stories in which Pheto was seen sporting her go-to pixie haircut and radiant skin. The most recent images and videos of Pheto depict a woman who is now leading a private life while surrounded by her intimate group.
