The top 30 candidates for Miss South Africa arrived in Johannesburg this Monday to begin their “action-packed” schedule of interviews, photo sessions, and seminars. As revealed last week, two married women and one mother are included in the top 30 for the first time ever.
Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, winner of the title in 2010 and a previous judge, Nobukhosi Khosi, award-winning fashion designer and stylist behind the Khosi Nkosi brand, and Miss South Africa organization CEO Stephanie Weil make up the selection committee. The beautiful ladies currently contesting for the title are:

The competition’s public voting period, which helped advance the competitors, ended on May 28. Finalists will be revealed in June on the Miss South Africa app.
The contestants will be introduced to viewers in Crown Chasers, a five-part, gripping reality TV series that lasts 60 minutes. The reality show’s finalists will also be put in authentic Miss South Africa situations, which will involve a number of tests centred around the four Miss South Africa principles which are, responsibility, championship, empowerment, and beauty.
