Season 2 of ‘My Dad the Bounty Hunter’ welcomes Thando Thabethe to the voice-over cast

One of the best actresses in the South Africa, Thando Thabethe who has a strong resume from being the host of the radio show, “Drive with Thando” on 947, to having appearances in some of the best productions in the country including the popular Netflix series “How To Ruin Christmas”, has recently been announced as a member of the voice-over cast for Netflix’s “My Dad The Bounty Hunter” season 2.

The young audience-focused sci-fi animated series debuted in February on Netflix. In addition to returning actors Laz Alonso, Yvonne Orji, Priah Ferguson, and Yvette Nicole Brown, Netflix reported that Thabethe is now one of the new voices that will be heard on the new upcoming season.

The cast also includes Godfrey, Adewale, Keith David, Tim Meadows, Ralph Ineson, Chelsea Peretti, and Janet Hubert. The South African actress announced the casting on her Instagram stories and reposted it on Twitter, both posts attracted a lot of supportive comments from her followers.

“Take a bow, sister @Thando_Thabethe,” actor Siv Ngesi wrote in a tweet.

In an effort to encourage other performers to “keep going,” Thabethe, who is currently starring in the reality tv series “Unstoppable Thabooty,” has shared with her followers the roles she was unsuccessful in landing as well.
