Drake teams up with Mzansi’s Kabza De Small for his first tour in five years

Drake’s show in Chicago’s United Centre marked the beginning of his first tour in five years. The Canadian’s “It’s All a Blur” tour featured support by 21 Savage, a frequent collaborator.

Drake sang “Take Care,” a fan favourite, and “Look What You’ve Done” to start the event, joined onstage by a hologram of himself as a young boy. He performed more than 50 songs in total during his opening night set.

Notably, he played a few of less well-known fan favourites all through, such as “Marvin’s Room,” “Jaded,” and “Feel No Ways.”

Word on Rd, Drake’s most popular fan page, posted a picture of the tracklists by him and 21 Savage.

Additionally, Drake revealed that a new album is on the way. He said about halfway through the performance, “I have an album coming up shortly for y’all. Additionally, the rapper made fun of Childish Gambino. On a tour poster, it was written, “The overrated and over-awarded hit song ‘This Is America’ was originally a Drake diss record.”

Drake said that local amapiano star Kabza De Small co-produced the tour’s music after the first performance. He posted on his Instagram stories, “Show is executive produced by @Ovo40 and @bnyx with additional production by @KabeloMotha.”

Drake has demonstrated a preference for amapiano throughout the years, this was seen through his frequent inclusion of the genre on his OVO Sound Radio playlists.

Additionally, he has already expressed support for Uncle Waffles. Earlier this year, he wrote a direct message to Kelvin Momo on Instagram after following him there. “You my friend are from another planet. Listening to you is like a religious experience,” he wrote to Momo.
